It feels like just yesterday that HBO miniseries Chernobyl filled the Game of Thrones-shaped holes in our hearts. But now it's already over... and Love Island is not an adequate replacement.

Fortunately, Craig Mazin - who wrote and produced the show - has taken to Twitter to share a list of films and documentaries 'for those who want to take their Chernobyl studies to the next level'.

So if you've found yourself a little obsessed by the disaster since the release of the show, here's a rundown of the best of what's out there, as selected by the creator of the top-rated TV series of all time:

Pretty comprehensive, eh? That ought to tide you over until at least the weekend, when Killing Eve season two comes out.

But if - even after all that - you've still got an insatiable thirst for Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster-based TV, then Mazin also later highlighted documentary The Babushkas of Chernobyl as a 'must-see'.

And if you feel like repaying Mazin for creating such a great programme and pointing you in the direction of other great programmes, then he has also tweeted an appeal for donations towards the Chernobyl Children International charity, which helps those suffering from the consequences of the disaster.
