Claire Foy has come to Adam Sandler's defence after he was criticised for placing his hand on her knee during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
Fans hit out at 51-year-old Sandler when he placed his hand on 33-year-old Foy's knee, claiming she looked 'uncomfortable' and he was acting 'inappropriately'. Judge for yourself here:

To many viewers it appeared that an oblivious Adam failed to realise her discomfort at what he was doing. Claire eventually responded by moving his hand back to his own leg.
