Harry Potter and the Deadly Weapons Part One.

Ever wonder what happened to Daniel Radcliffe after he finished Harry Potter? Of course, you already know, he's gone on to a successful career in films in which he's played a farting corpse, beat-poet Allen Ginsberg, and key part in a huge heist.

Well, now it appears he has hit upon hard times. The fame game can snap people like twigs sometimes.

Obviously, that's a joke. He's just shooting another film that requires him to wander around in his pants, a dressing gown, and tote two handguns. Sounds like the recipe for a great piece of cinema to me.

The film is called Guns Akimbo and from the looks of it, Harry Potter has come a long way from his time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Radcliffe was filming his new film in Auckland, New Zealand when he was captured in the bizarre get-up. The 28-year-old is starring alongside Home and Away's Samara Weaving in the film, which is directed by Jason Lei Howden.

The film's plot revolves around Miles (played by Radcliffe) who is an office worker who has to try to save his kidnapped girlfriend.

He finds himself drawn into the world of a sick internet craze - how very topical - that involves people fighting to the death in front of an audience watching online.

Speaking with the newspaper the NZ Herald last month, Radcliffe said: "Jason Lei Howden has written a brilliant and delightfully insane script, and working with him as director and alongside the fantastic Samara to bring it to life is going to be a lot of fun.

"If you see me around Auckland looking very worse for wear and covered in blood and bruises, don't worry, this is probably for filming."

The film's producer, Joe Neurauter, added: "Jason Lei Howden is an incredibly talented new filmmaker, who with Guns Akimbo'delivers a commercial action film that is original, fresh and gives us unique and exciting characters.

"We are convinced that audiences will love to discover Daniel as Miles."

That's not why you're here though, is it?

Of course, when presented with such an easy target as these photos offer, the internet went to work as quickly as you might imagine.

The results are pretty damn hilarious.

Let's all hope that the film can live up to the quality of some of the memes when it comes out.
