Give this a miss if you're not a fan of gore.

If you like your horror movies blood-soaked, then do I have good news for you? Because the trailer for indie, zombie-flick Dead Shack has been released and it is seriously gory.

Honestly, if you're a bit squeamish I would give this one a miss. Still here? Go on, then, just don't say I didn't warn you:

The comedy-horror appears to start off following the 'deserted cabin in the woods' theme, but rather than being chased by a sinister dude with a knife, these guys are up against zombies.

They arm themselves with an impressive array of weapons including an axe, guns and the classic barbed wire wrapped around a baseball bat, as the teens attempt to save their parents from the flesh-eating horde.

The official synopsis for the film says: "A group of teens on a weekend getaway at a secluded cabin in the woods soon find themselves fighting off a serious threat to their lives. Not only that they must save their hard-partying, drunk and stoned parents from a predatory neighbour who is hellbent on feeding them all to her undead family."

The film also appears to be a warning to anyone who reckons they can save a few quid by booking a cheap getaway on Craigslist without checking out what you're signing yourself up for.

Dead Shack is directed by Canadian Peter Ricq and stars Lauren Holly, Valerie Tian, Lizzie Boys and Donavon Stinson.

If you're still not convinced, one reviewer has described the film as 'The Goonies meets Night of the Living Dead', which is a mash-up I absolutely need to see. I'll just make sure to bring my sick bag.

The film will be getting its UK premiere at the Horror Channel FrightFest, which takes place in London between 24-28 August.
