Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to give the fans what they've been waiting for - that's right, a sneaky preview at his Fast and Furious spin off, Hobbs and Shaw.

He may let us down by having sushi as a 'cheat meal' I mean c'mon, where's the grease? But he certainly doesn't fail when it comes to enticing us into getting a little (over) excited about his upcoming movie.

The two LADs can be seen facing off in the picture and things look tense. If you can't remember the roles the pair played let us remind you.

Johnson played the role of Luke Hobbs, a former agent of the Diplomatic Security Service, he was tasked to hunt down wanted criminals Dominic Teretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (the late Paul Walker).

They later all work as a team to catch Owen Shaw and his brother Deckard - which is where Jason Statham comes into all of this.

At the end of The Fate of the Furious, Shaw and Hobbs become pals which leads nicely on to Hobbs and Shaw.

And it seems that, regardless of what Johnson said, Statham believes that the pair are going to get along just fine as he took to Instagram in September calling Johnson his 'partner in crime'.

The film's script has been written by Chris Morgan, who has worked on the Fast and Furious franchise.

And the director shared his enthusiasm for the film writing: "Been waiting to work with @therock and @jasonstatham for far too long! THE TIME is NOW! So fired up!"

The film is set for a 2019 release.
