Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in. That is, pull you back into the 'will they, won't they' romance involving I'm a Celeb campmate Emily Atack and ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp.

Yep, I bet you thought it was over and the actress had missed her chance to be with Jamie, but it seems she could still be in with a chance of bagging her man.

Since she left the jungle the former Inbetweeners actress has been pretty vocal in her interest in the 45-year-old, though nothing has come to fruition as yet, even Jamie's dad and I'm a Celeb winner, Harry - I'm definitely not a wheeler dealer - Redknapp said she didn't have a chance.

Well, think again, 'Arry.

Speaking to Heat magazine, the Sky Sports pundit has given Emily a glimmer of hope when he called her a 'sweet girl' - for the SECOND time!!

Who said romance was dead, eh?

Maybe it's not the end of the road for what many thought would be this year's great love.

Has Jamie left the door open for Emily after he called her a 'sweet girl'?

Talking about being single, Jamie, who split with his wife Louise in December 2017, said it was 'weird' seeing his dad describe him as single, while he was in the jungle.

He said: "I've got to be honest with you, that was surreal. Watching my dad telling her I'm single and stuff was really weird.

"I think he just forgot the cameras were on him, which I'm sure everyone does after a while."

Looking back at the moment Harry told him he was going in to the jungle, Jamie said that he just couldn't believe it.

Speaking about the conversation, Jamie said: "It was bizarre and, to be honest, I never knew he was doing it until I saw it in one of the papers on the Saturday morning.

Emily had been vocal of her admiration for the ex-footballer, while she was in the jungle.

"I rung him up and said, 'Dad, have you seen you're doing I'm A Celebrity?' expecting him to laugh and say 'Don't be stupid!' But instead, he just went 'Yes, I am doing it.'"

Being called 'sweet', isn't that just every girl's dream?!

Well it might be quite nice to hear, especially since Emily revealed recently that she had been axed from the Inbetweeners reunion special.

Though, looking at how that went she may be thanking her lucky stars she wasn't a part of the car crash.
