After a four-year battle with dementia, Andrew Sachs, the actor famous for his role in the series Fawlty Towers, has sadly passed away.

He was 86 and had been suffering dementia for several years.

Sachs was best known for his role as Manuel, a Spanish waiter in the comedy series Fawlty Towers.
