HBO has released some lovely pictures ahead of the upcoming fifth episode of the final series of Game of Thrones and they certainly pose a few intriguing questions.
***SPOILER ALERT***, obviously... but you knew that from the title, right?
First things first, it looks as if we're set for another epic showdown. Forget the Battle of Winterfell, don't even bother with the Battle of the Bastards, get yourself ready for the War of the Queens.

Yes, the two baddest bitches in Westeros are about to butt heads outside the gates of King's Landing.
And this time - unlike the Battle of Winterfell - we'll be able to see what's going on. That's because it will be daytime. Hurrah!
Daenerys has a chip on her shoulder the size of Dragonstone after Cersei Lannister and her cocky new boyfriend Euron Greyjoy took down one of her dragons, and had her loyal friend and confidante Missandei executed last time out.
Advert
Cersei just wants to rule the Seven Kingdoms in peace, and she ain't afraid to break a few hundred thousand eggs to make that particular omelette.
It's going down, basically.
So, what can we learn from the picture set?
Advert
Well, Jon Snow looks worried. Not much change to report there, then.
He is also shown arriving at what looks like Dragonstone with Varys. Now, we know that Varys has his doubts about his former Queen, so what the hell is going on here?
Advert
Outside of that, we've got some pensive shots of Grey Worm - presumably begging to be allowed to go forth and avenge his love, Missandei - and Tyrion.
Tyrion has got to come up with something good, and quick. All of his ideas recently have sucked, and you don't get that many chances where potentially tyrannical dragon queens are concerned.
Advert
We also get a second look at the Golden Company (still without elephants) guarding the gates of King's Landing. They're a specially trained fighting force, and - perhaps crucially - not absolutely knackered out from tackling a gigantic army of the dead like two weeks ago.
Perhaps the most fascinating shot of all is one of Euron Greyjoy. He's on his boat, looking quizzically into the distance.
What has he spotted? One dragon? Two dragons? A whole fucking flying squadron of dragons?
We'll have to wait until Monday to find out. Let's just hope that the battle is visible and clear, and that the good guys - whoever that even is anymore - emerge from it victorious.
Who is going to win the War of the Queens? Does Dany have more dragons up her sleeve?
