Louis Theroux's famous documentary on the Westboro Baptist Church is getting a follow up.

As confirmed by the BBC, Louis Theroux: Surviving America's Most Hated Family will see him revisit the delightful organisation, 'to see whether their controversial views have changed'. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that they haven't.

Although we don't seem to have any confirmation of when it will be aired just yet, the internet is already very keen to see more of the WBC.

For anyone who's not seen the original, now is the time to catch up. Louis has released two documentaries on the subject so far, the first in 2006 titled The Most Hated Family in America and the second in 2011 - America's Most Hated Family in Crisis.

The Westboro Baptist Church and its members have publicly condemned gays, Catholics, orthodox Christians, Jewish people, Muslims, celebrities, American soldiers, politicians and a range of other groups, organisations and individuals. They're known for acts like picketing the funerals of gay soldiers, among others.

After a series of high profile defections, as well as the death of the church's leader Pastor Fred Phelps in 2014, the church went through a period of change. Louis is expected to speak to Megan Phelps - who was disowned by her own family, as well as new members, including Bradford-born Mathias Holroyd who thinks their ideology has helped him deal with life in modern day Britain.
