OH, AND EPISODE FOUR, TOO.

Here we go. Two weeks to go in the final ever series of Game of Thrones. It's developing pretty quickly, perhaps too quickly for some folks out there.

The latest episode saw the dragon count halved, as well as the death of the much-loved Missandei. At this point, Daenerys Targaryen is much less the 'Mother of Dragons' and more the 'Mother of Dragon'.

Oh, and her faithful friend, translator and confidante Missandei has just gone and Missan-died after The Mountain took her head off with his gigantic sword.

Farewell, Missandei.

Add that to the fact that her nephew/lover/ally Jon Snow has now been discovered to have a strong - perhaps even stronger - claim to the thrones, things are very quickly going to shit for the woman who would be queen.

All of this seems to be heading in one direction. She's going to become the 'Mad Queen'.

Well, she's already there. After they lopped off her mate's head she became less the Mad Queen and more the Absolutely-Fucking-Seething Queen.

Jon Snow might do well to watch his back.

However, this is nothing new. Dark Dany has been on the cards for many a season by this point. We're just finally seeing it come to fruition.

Just last episode she lost her Dothraki horde, her Unsullied army, and right-hand man Jorah Mormont.

It seems like only a matter of time before she lets the red mist descend and burns anyone and everyone that moves to take the Iron Throne from Cersei Lannister.

Dany's dad, The Mad King Aerys II was famous for his love of burning folks to a crisp with wildfire and dragons. It's in her blood.

Here she comes...

In the latest episode, Dany said of Cersei: "We will rip her out, root and stem."

Tyrion Lannister - perhaps the only remaining voice of reason - said: "The objective here is to remove Cersei without destroying King's Landing."

But is it still?

Varys is about to bail, he's worried about his queen's 'state of mind'. Grey Worm is pissed because he and Missandei will never reach that beach in Naath.

That leaves Tyrion. He ain't gonna stop Daenerys and her remaining Dragon, Drogon.

He might well worry.

So, is this the point where she snaps? Is King's Landing about to feel the 'Fire and Blood' that made the Targaryens who they are?

We're about to find out.

Will Dany destroy everything in her path? Should she? Can anyone stop her? Come let us know what you reckon at Game of Thrones: Westeros Posting on Facebook.

Game of Thrones continues on Sky Atlantic on Monday 13 May at 2am, then again at 9pm.
