Harry Redknapp's First 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' Challenge Involved Leaning Out Of A Car Window

Harry Redknapp has barely stepped foot on Aussie soil and has already become a meme on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The former West Ham manager was one of this year's star signings for the show, scooping himself a reported £500,000 for his appearance.

But no sooner was he given a bit of airtime than they had him doing a challenge while posing in the classic Harry-Redknapp-pose - leaning out of a car window. You can't help but feel that someone backstage has had a proper laugh coming up with this particular challenge.

Obviously, it didn't go unnoticed on social media, with viewers flocking to Twitter to take the piss - sorry Harry:

But all his experience paid off and Harry and his red teammates -Nick Knowles, John Barrowman and Sair Khan won the challenge and picked Malique Thompson-Dwyer to join them over Emily Atack.

Earlier in the show, Harry opened up about the night he accidentally ran over his wife, saying: "I used to think I was a good driver but I had a nightmare and ran over my wife one day.

"She got out the car and I thought she'd crossed the road and I pulled forward and she fell into the road and a bus stopped literally yards away and the most amazing part of the story probably, my grand-daughter is sitting on top of the bus and sees all of this. Unreal."

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues on ITV tomorrow at 9pm.
