We've waited 287 days and finally Game of Thrones is returning to our TV screens.

With one of the largest ensemble casts in TV history and taking around $10 million to make each episode, it should come as no surprise the producers can pull in the biggest names in the industry for roles.

With season six just around the corner, we've taken a look at all the new faces we can expect to see over the next few months as we await episode 1 'The Red Woman'.

High Priestess Kinvara - Melanie Liburd

The Red Priestess featured in the season six trailer in Meereen. Is she the new red woman and will she have any scenes with Lady Melisandre played by Carice van Houten, the other red woman?

Melanie Liburd

The Three Eyed Raven - Max Von Sydow

The 87-year-old is well-known for roles in Star Wars and The Exorcist. He could play a 'Ghost of Christmas Past'-type role taking Bran to The Tower of Joy and to the Knight's King north of the wall.

The Knights King - Unknown

Re-cast, previously played by Welshman Richard Brake.

Young Eddard Stark - Sebastian Croft

Setting up for a few flashbacks, we may meet many other Starks but will we see him at The Tower of Joy?

Tarly Family - Randyll (Father), Melissa Florent (Mother), Dickon (Brother) and Talla (Sister) - James Faulkner, Samantha Spiro, Freddie Stroma and Rebecca Benson.

We'll get to meet the family of Samwell Tarly this season. Did you know Samwell Tarly is a cousin of Shireen Baratheon?

Khal Moro and Khal Rhalko - Joe Naufahu and Andrei Claude

Alone in The Dothraki Sea, Daenerys will meet some new horselords she might not get along as well with as her previous husband. We can't imagine they're going to treat Khaleesi too kindly.

Izembaro and his acting troupe - Richard E. Grant and Essie Davis

Rumoured to play The King of the Mummers, he entertains those in Meereen with a play called 'The Bloody Hand', which "is meant to mirror the world of Westeros" featuring a version of Cersie played by Essie.

Smalljon Umber - Dean S. Jagger

His father Greatjon Umber was the first bannermen to claim Robb Stark 'The King In The North.' Will most likely feature heavily in the 'North Revenge' storyline this season.

Euron Greyjoy - Pilou Asbaek

Euron Crow's Eye was a major character in the books at The Kingsmoot, he is the uncle of Theon Greyjoy, played by Alfie Allen. The Kraken story line has been passed over in the previous seasons however writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss may go back to it this season.

Unknown - Ian McShane

A big name star with an unknown role. Rumours suggest he is playing a high priest in one episode this season.

Ian McShane

The title of an episode usually represents a theme of that episode. So who is the red woman? Could it be an angry Cersei Lannister, The Lannister red, Queen Regent that wants an all holy revenge? Could it be the clergy of R'hllor, The Lord of Light, Melisandre or The Red Priestess?

Now the show has overtaken the books we can't wait to see what the next ten episodes have in store.
