'Home Alone' Fans Happy To See Macaulay Culkin Looking Healthy In New Google Advert
There are two types of people in this world. People who agree that Home Alone isn't a Christmas movie, just a movie that happens to take place at Christmas, and those who are wrong.
That being said, for a lot of people, Macaulay Culkin's turn as Kevin McAllister does put people into a festive mood. Imagine their happiness, then, when Culkin reprised one of his most famous roles for a new advert by Google.
The advert itself was announced by the man himself on his Twitter account the other day, he said: "Have you ever wondered what Kevin McCallister is like as an adult? Me neither. But just in case you're curious you should totally watch this."
Anyway, the video itself isn't what has people interested. It's that Culkin himself looks really, really, healthy.
It's fair to say that Macaulay has had his fair share of problems over the years - what child star hasn't - but he appears now to have come back to the limelight and is looking like he never left.
Let's not forget, Home Alone came out in 1990. In fairness to him, he looks great for his age (he's 38).
Because the internet never misses an opportunity to either deride or patronise a celebrity when they look/don't look their best, people have noticed that he is looking well, and have been taking to the internet to say exactly that.
One said: "I don't know if it's because I grew up watching his films or because we're the same age. I have a lot of time for Macauley Culkin. I want him to do well & be well, always."
Another said: "Wow. Macauley Culkin looks healthy in Google holiday ad."

Well, that's all well and good then.
With any luck, this latest advert isn't paving the way for another Home Alone movie. I think we've had quite enough of them, thank you.
However, it might be time for Macaulay Culkin to return to the spotlight.
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.
