It's finally back, and it didn't take long for people to get chatting about I'm A Celeb. In fact, it took less than two minutes.

Everyone has been aware of the struggles co-host Ant McPartlin has been through over the last few months, and for a short while it was questioned whether he'd be fit to appear on the show.

Luckily, after time in rehab, the Geordie was well enough to join his pal Declan Donnelly in the jungle to present the show.

Within minutes of them back on our screens they referenced Ant's troubles, making a scripted joke about it.

Dec went on to say how he was pleased to be alongside Holly Willoughby, who was rumoured to replace Ant. McPartlin, of course, acted surprised by it all while Dec shouted at the production staff for giving him the wrong lines.

He followed it up by saying "we didn't know whether you'd make it!", to which Ant said he was back and felt good.

Having arrived in Australia not long back, the presenter revealed he couldn't wait to back to business.

He said in The Sun: "I'm excited to be back, I can't wait. It's going to be a good show. I'm feeling great. The flight was all right, I had a lot of sleep and me and Dec had a good catch-up."

His best buddy and long-term showbiz partner, Dec, is also buzzing about his mate's return.

He said: "I'm looking forward to spending more time with him.

"It's brilliant to be back together, it's perfect. Everything just slotted back into place. We can't wait and we're raring to go. We are really excited.

"We'll have the same old shenanigans, but with a few little added twists. We just can't wait to get in and get going now. We've been waiting for ages, it's been a long summer break so we can't wait."

The pair had been apart for the longest time in their careers as Ant received treatment in the USA after becoming addicted to painkillers following a knee injury.
