Inbetweeners Back Filming Together Before Tenth Anniversary Show

Ten years since the awkward foursome hit our screens The Inbetweeners is set to return for a one-off special and they've been teasing fans with pictures of them on-set including ones of the four in the infamous yellow car with the red door.

James Buckley - who played Jay on the sitcom - posted a picture of the four on Instagram with the comment: "#Inbetweeners," a simple yet effective statement confirming that it surely can't be long before we'll see the former teen stars in all their glory.

This comes after Blake Harrison - who played Neil in the show - got fans truly excited over the idea the dream of seeing the lads together again will come true.

Posting a picture of Simon's infamous yellow 'sh*tbox' car, the actor wrote: "Hello old friend".

The original three series only actually aired for two years, but they were followed up by a movie spin-off and a sequel in 2011 and 2014 and we've now had to wait four whole years for any news on seeing a reunion.

This reunion is set to go ahead an people have taken to social media to share their excitement for seeing the lads return.

Many tweeted out the some of the much-loved quotes from the show in response to the excitement surrounding the come-back.

The programme, which airs next month, will also explore the idea behind the show, as well as taking audiences through unseen footage and funny, embarrassing stories from the cast.

However, even with a reunion there has been no confirmation that we'll see the four back in action for a whole new series of the show - but we do know all four main actors Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison- along with other stars like Emily Atack who came second in last night's final of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of here.
