A Key & Peele skit has reappeared as a meme and the Twitter community is absolutely loving it.

The original act was aired back in 2014 and shows Jordan Peele taking on the role of President Obama as he shakes hands with people. The quirky controversy comes when Peele greets black people he does it was more warmth than he does anyone else.

In the skit there are some definite stand-out moments, such as when a when a white woman tries to hug him is maneuvered into a handshake instead, and when he comes across Keegan-Michael Key's unnamed character and is uncertain if he is black and doesn't know how to proceed until his handler tells him Key is one-eighth black.

The two share an extended hug shortly before Peele's Obama completely disregards a white man trying to shake his hand - awkward.

It seems his comedy is lasting the test of time as people have taken the clip and put a 2018 spin on it - it's now a meme.

In one a clear Marvel buff has taken some of the films we love and hate - with Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 get the standard handshake, Iron Man gets a big 'ol hug. Deadpool 2 tries to hug him, but he puts it back in the handshake zone - ouch.

Then along comes the Captain America trilogy who all gets a group hug while Spider-Man: Homecoming is the one he's unsure of before bringing him in. Then, he righteously ignores The Amazing Spider-Man - sorry Andrew Garfield, we still love you.

Another spoof goes for an NBA sport angle on the skit. While the Kings and the Grizzlies get handshakes, Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young gets a hug - awkwardly, the rest of the Hawks get a handshake.

The Lakers get love, Clippers get refused, and NBA Twitter gets the group hug.

Peele's last hug goes to "Just kidding I love the entire league," but then the creator places the Warriors as the last person who gets ignored - burn.

Some things just seem to make it through the ages and it looks like Key & Peele still have a place among 2018 and Jordan Peele is the ultimate king of memes.
