After 12 years, hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory is about to say goodbye for the last time - however, one of the main stars has certainly distracted viewers from the impending end of the show.

Kaley Cuoco, who plays struggling actor Penny in the show, sent pulses racing when she posted a photograph of herself where she appeared to be... wait... was she... was she flashing one of her boobs?

Short answer: no, obviously she wasn't. But an unfortunate placing of a glass in the shot makes it look like the 33-year-old is showing off some 'side boob'. And followers were quick to spot it, as you'd expect.

The picture of the actor, alongside her sister, was posted to Instagram with the caption: "Out late with this one to see @badflowermusic rock at #elrey , she's so much cooler than me! @bricuoco oh and yes I got cupping today if you couldn't tell."

Cue the comments.

One person wrote: "Oh my gosh the glass looks like there's a hole in the shirt n loads of side boob."

The Big Bang star confused fans with her latest Instagram post.

A second follower said: "Totally thought your glass was side/under boob. You two are sweet."

Another added: "Glass in the left corner looks like boob."

"Is your boob falling out your top? Lol," asked another confused fan.

Charming stuff.

In recent weeks the actor has been focused on the popular comedy, which is coming to an end after more than a decade on our screens.

Speaking about her time on the show, she told press that she would have loved to have carried on.

The California native said: "I would've done 20 more seasons. It's a magical place but life has to go on. It does feel good to go out on top.

Cuoco said she will miss the show when it ends and would have loved to stay on.

"There's no missing link. No one has ever half-assed one moment of this show. Everyone cares so much. It means just as much to me as it does to anyone else working here.

"These characters are special. They were the underdogs in the beginning, which now, I think, they've totally come out on top. I still think we made nerdy cool 12 years ago when it wasn't."

Her co-stars might not be that sad to see the back of Cuoco, however, after she shared a tongue-in-cheek post that showed her goofing around on set.

A picture of the actor pulling a funny face in-between takes came with the caption: "Slowly but surely being a terrible influence on my co stars by teaching them to find the lens instead of listening to our writer who's trying to give us notes on this scene."
