The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a pretty exclusive club to be part of, with names as big as Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth just to name a handful of its alumni.
Not content with half of the Hollywood elite it's already managed to rope in, it sounds like Marvel is looking to expand its brood even more - eyeing up none other than Keanu Reeves.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was asked about potential recruits for the MCU while at the Spider-Man: Far From Home press conference earlier this week, when the subject of Reeves came up.

Referring to the John Wick star, Feige told Comic Book: "We talk to him for almost every film we make.
"We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don't know when, if, or ever he'll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it."
Feige didn't go into too much detail about his plans for the actor - or the role he would take on - but did compare him to Spider-Man: Far From Home's Jake Gyllenhaal, who they held 'multiple' talks with until the perfect role of Mysterio came along.

At the press conference, Feige also revealed we'd be getting a theatrical re-release of Avengers: Endgame with - get this - EXTRA FOOTAGE.
Also speaking to ComicBook.com, Feige confirmed the theatrical re-release will include new footage, saying: "We are doing that."

He added: "I don't know if it's been announced. And I don't know how much... Yeah, we're doing it next weekend."
I mean, it would be lovely to believe this is Marvel's way of giving back to fans (and it's not that we're not grateful), but it's also pretty likely that it has something to do with that race for the box office top spot.
Endgame did incredibly well at the global box office, having currently raked in a spectacular $2.743 billion, according to ComicBook.com. However, so far it's not done enough to topple James Cameron's Avatar, which still holds the global box office record with $2.788 billion, as of Wednesday morning.

That could all change with an extra boost from another spin round cinemas, luring people back in with the promise of unseen footage - a smart move that we're no doubt going to lap riiiiiight up.
Well played, Marvel.
