Looks Like The Rock's Getting Locked-Up In The New 'Fast And Furious' Film

You've got to admit it, the Fast and Furious franchise was getting a bit stale before Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson turned up and knocked it out the ballpark. He first appeared in the fifth instalment of the film series Fast Five, as Hobbs, a no-nonsense government agent tasked with bringing in Vin Diesel's Dominic and the rest of his crew.

Dwayne added that bit of extra something to the film and provided a much needed foil to Vin Diesel's onscreen character. Plus, he's The Rock. Who doesn't love The Rock?

Anyway, as you may know, Dwayne Johnson is returning for the upcoming Fast and Furious 8, which will be directed by Straight Outta Compton and Friday director F. Gary Gray.

You'll have to wait for its release in April 2017 to know exactly what the plot will entail, but looking at one of Dwayne's recent Instagram posts, it looks like Hobbs might be getting locked up in the film...

Posting the picture yesterday, he added the caption: "The Iceman cometh. And don't fucketh around. #OnSet #FastAndFurious8 #OrangeAintTheNewBlack #HobbsTheIceman APRIL 2017."

Looks like Hobbs will be having a bit of a change of direction, having been on the right side of the law in these movies.

We can only speculate on how he might end up behind bars, but given how he's been during the rest of the series, I don't think it's a bad shout that he'll be locked up for a crime he didn't commit. What you reckon lads?
