If you're a comedian, writer or director - you want to be known, don't you? Even better, you want to be a household name. And for the right reasons.

So, meet Evan Kaufman. He's now a big name but maybe not for having the best logic. He mixed up Barack Obama, former US president and hero to many, and Osama bin Laden, the man behind the 9/11 attacks.

Yes, two very different people - you may agree.

The ABC game show called Pyramid pairs a contestant with a celebrity as they offer clues based on a topic for their partner to guess. This edition saw the contestant, Evan, a new father, paired with Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows.

If you've not seen Pyramid before just think of the Friends scene where Joey loses almost every round. This is just a real-life form of that.

So, Evan was playing for $50,000 (£39,000) and was provided with the prompt 'People whose last name is Obama'. His answers should have been rather straightforward - Barack, Malia, Michelle, Sasha.

But the clue he gave, after a long breath: "Bin Laden," way to go, Evan.

Now, he's taken to Twitter to address his absolute horror.

He went on to say: "I was on $100,000 Pyramid. I'm playing with Tim Meadows, one of my heroes from SNL. My son had been born two weeks prior. I am very tired but excited to win money for my family. We play up the whole tired Dad thing.

"The producers of the show tell us beforehand, if we get to the final round, to study the questions VERY hard. 'People misread them!' They say. They have no idea.

"I lose my first round. I think, oh well... no Pyramid for me. Then Meadows and I go on a run in the second round. We're having fun, he's cracking jokes! This is great."

He continued: "The first square flips. I breathe. I read 'People Whose Last Name is Obama.' I freeze. There's only one. BARACK OBAMA.

"'Who else is a famous Obama?' My brain is racing. I need to list multiple people. I can't just say Barack. What I should have said was, 'Michelle, Sasha, Malia, Bo! The PORTUGUESE WATER DOG BO!'

"Here's what my brain decided. Who is associated with Obama? Who did he kill? What sounds like Obama!

"And so you have this perfectly viral clip. A clip that is insanely funny. It would be so funny if it wasn't me. The editing is impeccable. The little breath I take? I'm working so hard to get it right."

But Evan says that we don't see him 'shocked', and correcting himself by saying Barack - it's nice to know he got there in the end.

But all's well that ends well - Evan left with $8,500 (£6,600). Oh and he's now known as the worst Pyramid guest of all time.

Worse than Joey Tribbiani.
