One the face of it, cinemas are wonderful places. You get to see the latest movies on the biggest screens and gorge on fizzy drinks and popcorn. In some places, you can even have a beer.
It should be perfect.
But as one Twitter user pointed out when they shared footage from a showing of Avengers: Endgame, there will always be one flaw - other people.

The disgruntled movie fan shared a clip of fans cheering and clapping during the flick's most dramatic scene - when Iron Man saves the universe and defeats Thanos, popping his clogs in the process.
He posted the short video, which was filmed during a screening in India, with the caption: "This is why I don't do cinemas."
Since it was shared, the post has been liked more than 81,000 times, with more than 21,000 retweets, and it seems there are a few people who feel exactly the same way.

Commenting on the tweet, one person said: "If the cinema would be like that, I would stop going there. I wanna see a movie, not people having hysterics."
A second person wrote: "People in the theatre need to have more consideration for their fellow audience members, involuntary laughter or gasping is to be expected sometimes, but this is ridiculous."
And a third put: "Imagine paying to go watch a movie and just acting like this."
But not everyone agreed - certainly not the Marvel fan who originally posted the footage, which was taken during a late night screening last month.

They posted the clip with the caption: "This was taken during 4AM (ap-26) screening of Avengers: Endgame in INDIA. Watch & hear the reaction with headphones & speakers! the BEST ever REACTION!!!"
And they definitely weren't alone.
One fan was blown away by the reaction, writing: "Thank you for recording this I couldn't because I was busy screaming."
A second fan said: "Hahahahaha I love this crowd! I need to go to cinema with them."

While another was totally on board with the reaction, adding: "This was more or less my theatre throughout the final battle on opening night, and it was one of the best theatre experiences I ever had."
