Mark Ruffalo Takes Lie Detector About Avengers Spoilers On Jimmy Fallon

As we all know, we're all super keen for new info about Avengers:Endgame. We've waited and waited and then been dropped a few trailers along the way, which frankly have just given us even more questions.

So when you manage to get an actual Avenger trapped on your chat show sofa, what else are you gonna do other than wire them up to a lie detector and ask them a load of questions that could give you all the answers you're looking for?

Jimmy Fallon did just that when he got Mark Ruffalo, aka Hulk, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Despite getting Ruffalo 'fired' last year for doing asking him questions that caused him to leak the name of the last Avengers movie, Fallon went in.

He starts off by asking him some tester questions to show that the lie detector is legit. Asking his name, which when he answers obvs he gets right and the lie detector stays calm. He then asks the suited and booted Ruffalo if he's dressed like a tiny leprechaun, to which he replies yes. predictably, the lie detector reacts accordingly, with flashing red lights and its little arms going all over the place.

Then he gets in to Avengers territory. Getting in there with the first dig for a spoiler - and a popular theory amongst fans - he asks Ruffalo: "Is the Hulk a shapeshifting alien known as a skrull?"

Ruffalo says he can't answer the question, to which the lie detector reacts, then Fallon asks him: "Are there any hidden clues in the latest Avengers trailer that no-one has figured out yet?"

Clearly craftily trying to trick the device with a non-committal 'not that I'm aware of', it's still no challenge for the lie detector, which again goes off on one again.

He goes on to ask more questions, including whether or not Bruce Banner and Black Widow finally get together romantically, again, it would appear so.

He then throws in a curveball to prove that the lie detector is 100 per cent defo legit, asking him if he thinks Don Cheadle, who plays War Machine, is sexier than him.

In a completely grown up turn of events, Fallon asks Ruffalo: "Have you ever played with yourself?"

I think you can guess what the lie detector did.

The last question pushed him that bit too far though. When asked if there's any way any of the Avengers who vanished can return, Ruffalo had had enough.

With a click of his fingers, he tells Fallon he's out of there, and vanishes in a very similar manner to how some of the Avengers did in the movie.

We're taking the whole thing with a hefty pinch of salt.
