More good news for Marvel fans. After the news that if the Disney merger with Fox goes through we may yet see the X-Men under the guidance of Marvel supremo Kevin Feige, comes the news that it's not long until Daredevil season three hits screens.
The Netflix series has proved massively popular with viewers over the first two seasons and now devotees of the show can grab their first look at what is going to happen in the next instalment.
As you might imagine, the trailer is sufficiently dark and moody, and doesn't give away a great deal.
Featuring some jarring piano notes, the voice-over (presumably Daredevil himself) says: "You can suffocate evil, starve it, lock it behind bars, but it will find a way to come back even stronger.
"There is only one true way to end evil. To finish it for good. Let the devil out."
Creepy stuff - it doesn't give us a great deal to go on either.
One thing it does teach us is that the next series will come out in just under a month on October 19th, meaning that you've got until then to try to figure out, or until then to wait until they just tell you.
The poster is suitably creepy, too. Bathed in blood red, it shows a figure, appearing as if crucified, with some text that reads: "Do not fear the dark. Become it."
Dramatic stuff, but what did we expect and what do we know so far?
Well, season three will pick up where The Defenders left off. Matt Murdock - our blind anti-hero - was crushed by a falling building, but awoke later on surrounded by nuns.
It seems as if he's about to have some sort of crisis of faith. In another teaser trailer, the usually uber-Catholic Murdock said: "I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. And the thing is, I'd rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock."
Excellent. Perhaps we're about to see him turn into some sort of dark, cold-blooded vigilante. Perhaps he's going to turn heel and become outright evil.
Either way, we'll find out as soon as October 19th rolls around.
You can be sure that Vincent D'Onofrio will be returning as Kingpin. That's unquestionably a good thing. Not long now.
