Michael B Jordan left fans freaking out after a surprise cinema trip following last week's Creed II trailer drop.
The 31-year-old actor, who is reprising his role as Adonis Creed in the Rocky spin-off sequel, showed up at a theatre in New York City to watch the film's latest teaser on the big screen, then posted all about it on Instagram.
The star posted a video, along with the comment: "I hadn't seen the #Creed2trailer on the big screen yet so I figured I'd surprise some people in NYC and watch it with them. Threw in a lil surprise of my own too."

Members of the audience went crazy when Jordan appeared in the auditorium to announce the theatrical trailer of the film.
He said his reason for going was that he'd watched the trailer over and over again on his phone but was dying to see it on the big screen.
Towards the end of the video Jordan announced that he had another surprise for everyone present - although tickets to see the film would be going on sale before too long, he'd organised it so that everyone in the theatre had been sorted with a ticket already.

I know, I'm thinking the same: they got to watch the trailer in the presence of Michael B Jordan and got free tickets to Creed II. LUCKY BASTARDS.
We've all seen the Rocky movies before - if you haven't, please right that wrong immediately - and this looks like it'll continue in the grand tradition of its predecessors. So we'll get an awful lot of anger, happiness, hope, vengeance... probably some boxing too.
Basically, it looks great.
The boxing movie, which is directed by Steven Caple Jr., and written by Sylvester Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker (Luka Cage), will see Michael B. Jordan return as Adonis Johnson, son of Apollo Creed.

Following his fight against 'Pretty' Ricky Conlan in the first film, the sequel will see Adonis continue his training under Stallone's Rocky Balboa (who else?) for a brutal fight against Victor Drago (Florian Munteanu), Ivan Drago's (Dolph Lundgren from Rocky IV) son. Tessa Thompson also returns as Adonis' love interest, Bianca.
In the trailer, Adonis can be seen training with his father-figure mentor, Rocky Balboa, who is adamant to not see Creed Jr fall like his dad did in Rocky IV (spoiler alert, I suppose, although it came out 33 years ago so maybe I'm not the one at fault here).
The whole thing feels like a true Rocky-style training montage - i.e. the best possible way to get you excited for all the drama that's waiting to unfold.

Creed II isn't released in cinemas until 21 November, so there's a while to wait yet. But if the first film was anything to go by, the hotly-anticipated sequel is going to be everything we want from a Rocky spin-off - and maybe even more.
