Netflix is the gift that keeps on giving and you may have noticed that there's a new Netflix Original that has been added. It's called Bird Box and it's scary AF.

Many people have been praising the performance of Sandra Bullock, who plays a mother-of-two experiencing the inevitable difficulties of living in a post-apocalyptic world.

The general gist is that supernatural entities that take the appearance of their victims' worst fears, regrets, and losses cause them to die by suicide.

The film's synopsis explains: "When a mysterious force decimates the world's population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life."

With that in mind - a group of survivors, including Bullock and her kids, decide to cover all windows in the house and blindfold themselves whenever they must venture outside.

The drama, which has Danish director Susanne Bier at the helm, is based on a 2014 novel by Josh Malerman and viewers have been raving about it.

One said: "Bird Box gave me heart attacks YES ATTACKS WITH AN S".

A third commented: "Bird Box on Netflix was such a scary movie omg I would literally be the first to die if that was a real thing lmao".

And in response to Bullock's portrayal, one fan said: "It [Bird Box] is fucking amazing. Sandra Bullock literally made me forget it was a movie."

"Omg I just finished today. Sandra Bullock killed it. So amazing. The end is so beautiful," another chipped in.

And summing it up someone else said: "Bird box is generally one of best films I think I've ever watched in my whole life." Bold statement.
