When you think of Nick Knowles, you think of DIY and people getting very emotional about DIY, right?

But there are more strings to Nick's bow, guitar strings to be specific. The 56-year-old released his first album, Every Kind Of People, last year and it reached number 92 in the UK album chart.

Chatting with camp mates on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, he delved into the glamorous origins of how exactly his music career came about. Yes of course, it all started with a rooftop jam with Biffy Clyro no less.

While chatting to Emily Atack, he said: "I've always played, my brother's a really good musician and I've always played along with him and a couple of years ago.

"Somebody heard me, I was playing on a rooftop bar in Soho with some other bands... it was Biffy Clyro.

"Somebody from a record company saw me doing it and I got a phone call saying, 'I'm from Universal, want to do an album?"

"Some people really liked it... and all the stand up comedians really got stuck into it."

Now, the Twittersphere is enjoying their turn of getting 'stuck into' Knowlesy's musical collaboration with the Scottish rockers.

Poor old Nick got dug out previously by Noel Gallagher on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, with Noel saying his singing sounded like he had had a stroke.

If you're feeling all this is a bit cruel, then why not buy his album now? It's available on Amazon on now for £5.99 and has an average rating of 2.4 stars.
