Sadly, I've never been given the opportunity to take a piss on a live TV set. However, yesterday a one-year-old girl 'went to the toilet' on the studio floor and what's more her parents didn't bat an eyelid.

Adele, 32, and Matt Allen, 33, from Brighton believe in a style of childcare they call 'Off-Grid Parenting' which means that their children, Ulysses, five, and Ostara, one, are both still breastfed, have never visited a doctor and will not attend a mainstream school.

The kids were allowed to run wild on set, climbing on sofas and wandering around the studio - with one of the kids running in front of camera and peeing live on national television, the Daily Star reported.

Speaking about breastfeeding, Ulysses, Adele said: "It really depends on the day. He does it more at home when he's feeling tired or needs comfort.

"Not so much when we're out but sometimes if he's feeling a bit emotional he asks to. And that's fine with me."

The couple believe in an 'all-natural approach' to bringing up their children but many viewers were not impressed with the kids' antics, taking to social media to voice their disapproval.

Their mum also used the family's appearance on the show to explain their unorthodox approach to modern medicine, explaining that they shunned conventional treatments when the children had scarlet fever and chicken pox.

"We treated it naturally. We believe in the body to self heal," Adele said. "If you support the body's healing through supplements and herbs then it will heal you.

"I don't believe that bringing a fever down artificially helps the body. I believe a fever is there for a purpose to clean the body out."

Here's what people on Twitter had to say about their appearance...

Wow - looks like people weren't happy!
