The last season got everyone, it was arguably the best of the lot. We couldn't help but get excited as Red Right Hand blasted through our TV. And get ready for that feeling again because it's back.
The show's creator, Stephen Knight, who's currently writing the fifth series of the gangster programme, has also promised that Cillian Murphy's character Tommy Shelby will be back. Best. News. Ever.
He told the Birmingham Press Club: "We are definitely doing [series] six and we will probably do seven. We've talked to Cillian Murphy and he's all for it, and the rest of the rest of the principal cast are in for it."

The only thing topping this would be Alfie Solomons coming back from the dead to entertain us all over again.
Knight had previously hinted series five may be the shows last. And we just couldn't take it. He explained to Digital Spy that every series has six episodes and that if more was needed to tell the story he would ask for it. Get asking because the people want as much as we can get.
He said: "Each time, we do six episodes [per series]... and can you sum up the story in six episodes? Or do you need another six? That's the question.

"If it doesn't need a season six, I don't think there'll be one. But it may need one, because [six episodes is] such a short period of time."
Some details have been released about the fifth series just to curb our Tommy Shelby withdrawal symptoms. Thank us later.
Deadline was first to report that Anthony Byrne is set to be the show's director for all six episodes, just like most of the previous directors - David Caffrey, Tim Mielants and Colm McCarthy - did too.

Anthony has previously directed ITV's three-part drama titled Butterfly, starring Anna Friel, as well as co-writing In Darkness with Game Of Thrones' Natalie Dormer.

Season four of the show had it's strongest run to date with the Shelby clan facing off against mafia mob boss, Luca Changretta.

The series started with them all dodging an unfortunate noose around the neck, which was pretty damn obvious given that it was only series one for heaven's sake.
We watched on as a very stubborn John Shelby broke our hearts when he was shot to smithereens as the Italian American's appeared from the back of a cart - everyone knew it was coming but we just didn't want to believe it.
There's back and forth attacks and we're happy to see young Michael getting progressively better (Polly would have definitely gone off the rails). Always prepared for battle, Tommy single-handedly kill three of Luca's gang members.
Things come to a head at the boxing match when Tommy gets a visit from Alfie Solomons, the sneaky devil. We were all completely convinced that Arthur had been killed as he follows a suspicious man from the arena.

It's then revealed that the vendetta will be over if Tommy signs over all his assets to Luca Changretta. We were sceptical about this.
Luca attacks Tommy and as Tommy is getting the upper hand (obvs), Arthur appears, shooting Luca. It was sweaty palm central.
The series finished with Tommy becoming Labour MP for Birmingham South. Of course he is because no one f**ks with the Peaky Blinders.
We're glad we got that out of our system.
