Piers Morgan lost his cool on TV again this morning. This time, though, viewers reckon it was completely justified.
The media veteran, who's well known for not backing down, came face to face with Dr Michael Davidson, a man who thinks homosexuality is a sin and that he can cure it. What a whopper.
Dr Davidson was on Good Morning Britain to talk about so-called 'Gay Conversion Therapy'. He was sat beside Josh Parry, a journalist from the Liverpool Echo, who recently carried out an investigation into the practice. The undercover reporter visited a church in Liverpool which promised to be able to 'pray' away his homosexual urges.

Davidson told the hosts that he himself had been a homosexual but 'cured' himself. He said he now sees 14 men a week, who come to him looking for 'help' and a 'cure'.
He got off to a bad start with the outspoken host when he explained his thinking. He said: "For me, yes, it was certainly a sinful behaviour. It is something that is an abomination in the Old Testament.

"I think that science is very clear - even the American Psychological Association says there's no evidence one way or another into the effect of therapy.

"I believe people are not born gay; that they come into homosexual feelings and [that] is something, in some cases, that is reversible if they want to make that trajectory in their life."

But Piers was having none of it, shouting: "Where's your evidence you were born straight? Stop banging on about wacky-baccy science. I'm asking you a question, prove to me that you're straight."
Dr Davidson replied: "I have two children, I have been with my wife for 35 years. I have left homosexual practises."
Piers then began to ask Davidson about his sex life, asking how many men he had had sex with. However, Davidson wouldn't answer, saying he could be 'triggered' by his gay urges.
This just got Piers more irate.

"Shut up, you old bigot," he shouted.
"Sorry, this is ridiculous. Has it crossed your bigoted mind that people might not want to find your path, and be told they need to be cured of this aberration as it's offensive?"
Viewers found themselves siding with Piers, which must have been an odd sensation:
