Throwback To When Declan Donnelly Completely Lost It On Wonky Donkey

Having them back on our screens has got us reminiscing over some of their best times throughout the career, and Wonky Donkey is the best.

Ant and Dec have come a long way since their Byker Grove days. It's safe to say that they are both utter national treasures, and if they aren't your favourite Geordie duo then you need to reevaluate all of your life choices.

It felt like the world stopped turning at the possibility of Ant not joining Dec on this year's I'm A Celebrity, but thankfully they both came back and were ready to jungle. It just wouldn't have been the same without him.

Having them back on our screens has got us reminiscing over some of their best times throughout the career, and Wonky Donkey from SM:TV has got to be up there as number one. Wait, you haven't seen it?! Get ready to watch Dec lose the plot at some of these kids...

The rules of the game were pretty simple. The two words had to describe what the contestant saw right in front of them, and they HAD to rhyme. Hear that? THEY HAD TO RHYME.

It's not like there were complicated rules either, but it just seemed so fucking hard to understand for some of the poor kids trying to win a CD or trip away for the whole family.

Dec would lose it all the time as the children attempted to answer thanks to some pretty helpful and obvious clues, and Ant would stand looking on in fear behind him as he screamed down the camera.

There has been talk of a return of SM:TV and we can live in hope that it does happen. In fact, Ant and Dec love it as much as we do.

"The thing that I miss more than anything is doing Saturday morning telly. It was the best, best, best three years," Ant said in 2014.

"Ah, it was brilliant, and it was that thing where it didn't matter if it was always good, cause you just kind of moved on really.

"And with Saturday morning it was never expected to be brilliant so if an item didn't work we could just laugh it off or throw it to [co-host] Cat [Deeley]!'

Wonky Donkey was FULL of legendary moments, with Dec nearly having an aneurysm every single episode. What a throwback.
