Rich Kid Who Thinks Homeless Are 'Lazy' Was Stabbed In Own Home

You might recognise self-made millionaire Kieren Hamilton from 5STAR's show Rich Kids Go Homeless, he caused controversy when he said that homeless people were 'weak-minded' and 'lazy'.

The crypto-currency trader was nearly stabbed after a rough sleeper thought he was an undercover cop - all thanks to his new, £4,000 ($5,200) pearly whites, which he had sorted in Turkey.

But this isn't the first time Kieren has found himself in the line of fire when it comes to knife crime because back in January 2018 he was stabbed in his own home by a machete-wielding gang.

Twenty-three-year-old Keiren was stabbed at his home in Oldham, Greater Manchester, in front of his one-year-old daughter who screamed in terror, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The robbers demanded money from Kieren, who refused, resulting in him being stabbed in the arm and suffering a deep wound.

Despite rejecting their demands for money, the robbers made off with the family's French Bulldog, Rambo, as well as his phone and laptop.

Speaking to the M.E.N., Kieren said: "They stabbed me about 40 times, but most of them didn't pierce, I have just got scratches on my arm. I didn't really have time to be scared. It was fight or flight.

"They couldn't get what they wanted from me, so they stole my dog, and tried to get one up on me to hurt me that way."

The Sun reported that Kieren was left with a deep gash to his elbow that needed 12 stitches.

At the time of the incident, Kieren's mum, Nikki Campbell, told the M.E.N.: "He's not bothered about himself. He is concerned about his little girl, she was screaming.

"They were telling Kieren to give them this, give them that, but he didn't give them anything.

"He has lost a lot of blood. There is blood all over the house, it looked like a massacre. Kieren tried to drag himself to the baby, but he felt very weak."

According to The Sun, one of the robbers, Corey Fricker, 27, began a 13 year sentence on 2 November 2018 after admitting to offences of robbery and an unrelated matter of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

Kieren's latest stunt on 5STAR's Rich Kids Go Homeless saw him spent three days on the streets of London which meant swapping his luxury lifestyle, which was full of designer clothes and exotic holidays, to spend some time living 'homeless'.

The dad-of-one - who claims to earn £10,000 ($13,000) a day - spends £100,000 ($130,000) on cars and has a wardrobe worth £30,000 ($39,000). He headed to the Strand in the capital with nothing but a sleeping bag, wind coat and a pair of thick socks.

The trader also took with him some glasses, which he believed would earn him more money because he wanted to buy umbrellas that he could sell once it started to rain.

The clip above shows Kieren counting the change people have given him and realising that he's only made £5 ($6.50) - he exclaims: "I feel like I'm selling my body, you have to swallow your pride a bit."

When the time came for Kieren to leave and go back home to his four-bedroom house in Oldham, Greater Manchester, he decided to give everything he had earned away to rough sleepers.

He has also promised to donate money and food to homeless people and vowed to encourage his daughter to do the same as well.
