Ryan Reynolds Responds As You'd Expect To Blake Lively 'Unfollowing' Him

It was only a matter of time before Ryan Reynolds responded to his wife unfollowing him on Instagram in a bid to promote her new film. Harsh

We love Ryan Reynolds and we love Blake Lively - but we love them together the most because they're absolutely hilarious. The pair have a very healthy history of just generally ripping into each other on social media - and the results usually make for great reading.

But the banter seems to have been put on the back burner for Blake for now. Well, on Instagram, at least, because the actress has unfollowed everyone - including Ryan - except 38 people who are all called Emily Nelson. Weird.

We've figured it all out, though - she's promoting a new film, A Simple Favor, due to be released in September. Phew! Either way, she's deleted all her pictures and pals, and her husband seems pretty cut up about his place in the whole thing.

In an interview on radio show Smallzy's Surgery, to promote new film Deadpool 2, Ryan responded to the question of how it made him feel exactly as you'd expect Ryan Reynolds to reply.

"It definitely stings," he told host Smallzy. "It's a terrible way to find out that I've been kicked out of the house, to be honest. Absolutely terrible. I don't know where rage like that comes from."

The Nova FM presenter then joked: "At least the kids are young enough that they don't have to have that conversation that mummy and daddy aren't talking any more."

In the grand Reynolds/Lively bantz tradition, Ryan replied: "[If I told them] 'Mummy unfollowed daddy on Instagram', my child would just fart and then walk away."

Sounds like a few people we know.

Follow him back soon, Blake. Only for our own selfishness.

Last week Ryan reprised his infamous antihero role to troll his latest victim, Hugh Jackman, in a hotel room. The Greatest Showman actor was trying to record a birthday message when Deadpool began singing over him.

His song of choice? 'Tomorrow' from the musical Annie, which swiftly morphed into a rendition of 'Who Let The Dogs Out'.

It looked very off-putting indeed:

The Australian actor took to Twitter saying: "When you're trying to record a heartfelt birthday message .... but are interrupted by the least greatest showman."

Everyone knows Ryan loves the odd prank (if you didn't, you do now), whether it's aimed at his wife, family or friends in the industry. And nothing would seem right with the world if he didn't continue to be that person.
