Scarlett Moffatt Is Replacing Davina McCall On Revived 90s Show 'Streetmate'

First the good news - Streetmate is returning to our screens! The 90s show saw a young Davina McCall running round streets in the UK looking for single people to hook them up. Holly Willoughby also did a stint in a revamped version a few years ago.

She basically pestered people on the street to go on a date and then she would make them tell her on camera if it had been a good date - or not. A bit lite a dated version of Tinder.

It was amazing.

Here is McCall coming back for a special one off for Stand Up To Cancer.

Anyway, despite saying that she would be keen to be asked back (what is Davina up to these days anyway?) Channel 4 asked Gogglebox star and Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt instead.

Scarlett has said: "I can't believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic show. I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking, 'females can present entertainment shows too. I want to do that when I'm older'.

"It's such a fun show and it's two of my favourite things to do, chat to randomers and a love story."

Let's see if it can beat swiping right furiously.
