It's amazing, and slightly devastating, to know that the final season of Game of Thrones wrapped up filming this summer - shows like that take so long to get perfect so it's no surprise that the stars of the show get up to some crazy things in between takes.

Sophie Turner, known on-screen as Sansa Stark, spilled what her and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) get up to - which, for the off-screen BFFs includes: sleepovers, watching videos online and smoking weed - wait, what?

In her interview with Vulture, Sophie said: "We're kind of like loners on Game of Thrones, just because the past few seasons Maisie and I have sleepovers every night when we're shooting. Or every night whenever both of us are in town. We just used to sit there and eat and watch stupid videos and smoke weed."

She quickly added: "I don't know if my publicist will kill me for saying this. We'd get high and then we'd sit in the bath together and we'd rub makeup brushes on our faces. It's fun."

So not quite the innocent girls that met when they were only 13 when they were both auditioning for the hit show together, back in the day.

Sophie didn't only talk about her naughty nights with Maisie, she also talked about the extent the production company will go to for secrecy.

I mean, we all know Game of Thrones fans are dying to get the hands on any kind of teaser, but it turns out HBO are just as desperate to avoid spoilers getting out that they're shooting drones out of the sky.

Sophie said: "The secrecy is crazy. We have a whole different name for it when we're shooting it. I think this season it was like the Tree of Life or something."

From what she says in the interview it sounds like the life of a GOT actor resembles that of a character in a spy thriller - the actors' names are changed in the scripts and call sheets and HBO even has a 'drone killer' that shoots down any that fly over the set.

She said: "I don't know how it does it. It creates like this field around and the drones just drop.

"Also, we shoot fake scenes. We got into costume in Croatia because we know the paparazzi lurk around there, so we would spend like half a day doing nothing."

Unfortunately, for fans of the show, she was careful not to give too much away about the upcoming and final season of the show.

She said: "I know I say this every season, but Sansa really comes into her own this season. The past few seasons for her and the whole series for her, she's kind of been somewhat lost as a matter of where she wants to be, who she wants to be, who she wants to surround herself with, and this season she is very very self-assured.

"She knows what she wants. She knows what she stands for. She knows who she wants to be around, and she faces threats to that this season. But, well, we'll see how that goes."

Basically, we're all even more on edge for season 8 to finally hit our screens.
