Stanley Johnson Gets 'Man's Not Hot' Wrong On I'm A Celebrity... Spectacularly

Stanley's fellow contestants tried telling him about the song that everyone's skraaping about at the moment but he got it wrong. Badly.

I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Stanley Johnson is not exactly known for not being down with the kids.

As a 77-year-old former Conservative MEP, politician and author, the father of Boris Johnson shouldn't be expected to be up to date with all the current trends.

But on tonight's I'm A Celeb Stanley not only proved that he hasn't been listening very much to BBC Radio 1 recently, but 'cocked' up a popular culture reference spectacularly.

Stanley's fellow contestants were trying to tell him about the song that everyone's skraaping about at the moment: 'Man's Not Hot' by Big Shaq, the comedy creation of Michael Dapaah.

However, Stanley catastrophically misheard what they were saying, calling the song 'Man's Hot Cock' instead. Oh dear, Stanley. Oh dear.

Of course that caused chaos across social media as people tried to get to grips with what they just heard Stanley say.

Some people gave their immediate reaction, which was, naturally, that the moment was really funny:

Others praised Stanley for the value that he's adding to this year's series of I'm A Celeb:

While one person thought we should just give up with the series now as we're clearly not going to top this moment:

Perhaps the most exciting tweet was the suggestion of Stanley's next project when he gets out of the jungle:

Stanley teaming up with Big Shaq on a track sounds like the sort of comedy music match-up that dreams are made of.

After all, we've already had Nan's Not Hot this week. Why not have Man's Hot Cock as well? Actually, I can think of at least one reason.

If a real life meeting between the two isn't possible, surely someone can do us a solid and put Stanley in the track using Adobe Premier.

And if that fails, at least we'll have this magic moment to remember as this series of I'm A Celeb rumbles on.
