Terry Crews Says White Chicks 2 Is Happening

He'd walk a thousand miles to make it happen

Comedy hit White Chicks became somewhat of a cult hit following its release back in 2004, starring brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans as a pair of FBI agents transformed into two white sisters for an undercover mission.

While they both smashed it as Kevin Copeland and Marcus Anthony Copeland - or Tiffany and Brittany Wilson depending on how you look at it - a sizeable chunk of the credit has to go to Terry Crews.

The actor provided some of the funniest scenes in the film, including his rendition of Vannesa Carlton's 'A Thousand Miles', not to mention that dance routine performed after getting his drink spiked. Pure. Comedy. Gold.

Although talks of a sequel have been circulating for quite some time, the legend himself appeared to confirm the news this week in an interview on Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

When asked by a caller about White Chicks 2, Terry replied: "You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like 'man we doing it, we getting it going'."

The host went on to discuss the film's potential to be a blockbuster hit, to which Terry jokingly replied, "I've stayed in shape just for that movie. I've been working out for 15 years so we could do White Chicks 2, y'all."

Never change, Tezza.

The confirmation arrives around a year after Marlon appeared to suggest the sequel could happen during an interview on TRL.

"Is White Chicks 2 happening anytime soon? I don't know. But there's been a lot of rumblings happening," he said.

"A lot of people want us to do it. So me and my brothers have been talking. So if things go right, we hope to do a White Chicks 2."

This teamed with the fact that Hollywood seems intent on rebooting or reviving pretty much every successful piece of cinema from our childhoods, and it seems inevitable that a second round will arrive at some point down the line.

Hopefully sooner rather than later, not least because Crews promised another outstanding rendition if it does.

Crews told The Talk on Monday that the film could see a pop song performance in a similar vein as 'A Thousand Miles': "I think the modern day equivalent to that might be Carly Rae Jepsen 'Call Me Maybe'."

Come on Hollywood - let's make this happen already.
