'The Chase' Contestant Looks The Spits Of The Old Man From 'Up'

'The Chase' Contestant Looks The Spits Of The Old Man From 'Up'

Twitter couldn't handle it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Chase is the best gameshow on TV. End of story. How many of us have spent a hungover day in your slobs just watching Bradley Walsh piss himself at the latest answer? Exactly.

The latest contestant to bring us joy is John.

Just look at him...

If that's not the face of someone who has a pocketful of Werther's Original then I don't know what is.

The adorable little old man held a striking resemblance to Carl Fredricksen, the main character from Disney's Up.

John managed to take £4,000 back to his team but sadly they weren't able to beat the Chaser, Paul Sinha, to take the cash home.

The Chase contestants seem to be getting more and more attention these days. In fact, there have been loads recently.

The Telminator

Terry, a poker player, not only built up £55,000 in his own cash builder, but also helped the team fly to glory by beating Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty to take home a tasty £61,000. Anne even quipped: "I can't remember when I last played a better player."

Viewers took to Twitter to express their shock at such a kick-ass player. Some referred to him as 'The Telminator'.

People were so impressed that they were hoping our Tezza would get signed up as a Chaser for the next series.

The Chase's official Twitter account even said:

What a legend. I bet Anne's fuming.

'Suicide Girl' Georgia

Georgia appeared on The Chase and told Bradley that she was the manager of a shoe shop. But that's not all. After the show aired, it was revealed that she's also a Suicide Girl.

If you're not aware of the group, they're a bunch of alternative women who do 'saucy' photoshoots. A lot of them have tattoos and piercings.

She's got thousands of followers and often posts erotic videos.

She's far from arsed about people knowing about her other life, though, and why should she be? She's clearly got a good thing going here.

Speaking to the Mirror, she said: "The only bad comment I've seen was someone saying I'm the strangest woman he's ever seen!

"I haven't gone looking for comments, though; it's just what fans have tagged me on Twitter."

She managed to get £4,000 during her cash building round. Sadly, she and Linda (the other remaining contestant) failed to beat the Chaser.

If there's one thing you can say about the British, it's that we're polite. Maybe you could also say that we're a nightmare when we're abroad for hen and stag dos, and that we like cups of tea to be the colour of He-Man's face. But it's mostly the good manners thing.

So when we're watching The Chase on ITV at 5pm and someone has the AUDACITY to take a MINUS OFFER we freak out.

How dare they?! How can you possibly think that's a good decision?! It's so selfish and thousands of people are watching you and judging the fact you're a rude individual.

Susan got three questions right, and when she was faced with an offer of -£5,000 by Mark 'The Beast' Labbett she only went and took it.

People were fuming, with many taking to Twitter to let their feelings be known.

Luckily, the Beast caught up with them so we can feel a little bit of justice that she didn't get a penny.

Chase politics, man. It's a tough world out there. Brexit Britain.

The thing is, I can't possibly write an article about The Chase and not tip my hat to one of the best moments of British TV history... Fanny Chmelar.
