Netflix have finally released the first full length trailer for the upcoming series of The Punisher.
The first teaser trailer for the Marvel show was seen back in August, which certainly whet our appetites, but the new one full on makes you salivate...
The trailer plays over Metallica's 'One', which only adds to the mixture of mystery, violence and explosiveness.

The Daredevil spin-off will see the return of Jon Bernthal as the vigilante Frank Castle.
Judging from the amount of gun-fire and violence in the clip, it could be one of best things to come out of the Marvel Universe in a while.
Jon is joined in the new series by Deborah Ann Woll, playing Karen Page. Bernthal spoke about taking on one of Marvel's most iconic characters in an interview with Complex last year.Credit: PA

He said: "The first step in trying to fill Frank Castle's shoes is to try to understand what would happen if somebody tore that love away from you. If they tore those people away from you. And that's something that just filled me with so much emotion and made me so scared, so angry.
"It's always sort of been my philosophy in life. If something really scares you, if something really kinda sets you on fire inside, that's exactly what you need to step towards.
"There's a pressure there to stepping into an unbelievably iconic role. The responsibility here is to do justice to the iterations of the character that have come before me, but then obviously to make it unique, and to make it real, and to make it mine."
It was announced last year that The Punisher would become its own series.

Daredevil's second season premiered on Netflix on March 18 and was almost instantly met with universal acclaim, much the same way as its debut season was. Bernthal's performance as Frank Castle was also praised by many for its rawness and the emotional vulnerability he gifted to a character who essentially just walks around murdering people.
Talking about the onscreen relationship that Castle and Daredevil share, Bernthal told Empire that "Frank is so filled with rage and despair that this idea of a guy prancing around in a costume with little horns beating up bad guys is absurd to him."

"It's ripe for a character like Frank to come in and shit on that. What's really interesting is that these guys are absolute enemies, but they start to understand each other."
There had been rumours for some time that a standalone Punisher show would get the green light and eventually those rumours were confirmed by EW.
This will be Marvel's sixth show that will be hosted by Netflix, and after the success of both Daredevil and Jessica Jones - it's certainly a smart move. It will also join Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders on the streaming network.
