It's been a long 13 years since The Incredibles came out of hiding in a world where superheroes were frowned upon and defeated bad guy Syndrome. Now, the whole family are back and their return has resulted in the most-viewed animated trailer ever. Check it out below:

The trailer for the highly anticipated Disney-Pixar premiered on Saturday's College GameDay, and has already been seen more than 113 million times, making it the biggest trailer debut ever for an animated film and seventh overall in the history of films.

Although it took over a decade to be released, the new film picks up immediately from where the first one left off. If you can remember what happened all those years back, the family - Bob, Helen, Violet Dash and Jack-Jack Parr, aka the Incredibles - come face-to-face with a brand new villain.

Alongside long-time family friend Frozone - voiced by Samuel L. Jackson - the family will not only have to wrestle with more bad guys in the sequel, but also with the realisation that baby Jack-Jack has some very special - and very potent - superpowers.

According to the film's official plot synopsis, it's going to be "a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again - which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible."

The actual trailer doesn't give too much away, thankfully, but it does show Bob - voiced by Craig T. Nelson - as he realises that baby Jack-Jack does indeed possess special powers - and how dangerous they can be for a baby who has absolutely no control over them.

The sequel, which will again be directed by Brad Bird, was first announced back in March 2014 and was initially scheduled to be released in 2019. However, it switched with the upcoming Toy Story 4 to become the next Disney-Pixar film released after Coco, which comes out in January.

Incredibles 2 will be out in cinemas on 15 June 2018.
