Jeepers Creepers is a great example of just how good horror films can be, relying on genuinely creepy shots and suspense than just lashing loads of blood and gore about the place. There's always room for a bit of that as well, though, and it didn't disappoint on that score either.
Fans of the film, like me, were keen for a sequel and in 2003, their wish was granted as the imaginatively named Jeepers Creepers 2 was released. It's also worth a watch, if you're a horror fan and you like cheap-looking prosthetics and some good jump-worthy scares.

If you've not seen the original film, it follows the story of the Creeper, a monster which emerges every 23 years to harvest body parts. Nice chap.
Luckily, we haven't had to wait 23 years for the newest film (although 14 still seems like a lot). It comes out later this month and is, weirdly, set in between the first and second films.

The third movie will star Gina Philips, who played Trish Jenner in the original, but who didn't appear in the previous follow-up.
According to the film's synopsis we can look forward to this: "On the last day of the Creeper's twenty-three day feeding frenzy, skeptical Sargent Tubbs teams up with a task force hell-bent on destroying the Creeper for good.
"The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins."

Get ready to shit your pants.
Bizarrely, though, Jeepers Creepers 3 (also listed as Jeepers Creepers 3: The Cathedral on IMBD) is set to be limited to just one night of screenings and, even more bizarrely, that one night is a Thursday.

Yup, just the one night - 26 September, to be precise, so clear your diaries, or else you'll have to wait for the DVD.
