Disney has finally dropped the full length trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Frozen.

While fans will still have to endure an agonising wait for the official release on November 22 later this year, the new trailer sheds some light on what we can expect from the second instalment.

As Elsa exhales from the cold, rough waters at the start of the trailer, to a troll called Pabbie, who says: "Elsa, the past is not what is seems. You must find the truth."

Could this be the truth about why she was born with magical powers? So together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, the princess sets off on a path to find the truth.

People watching the trailer for the first time seem bloody thrilled at the premise for the sequel.

"Never been more excited for a sequel. Even more surprised it's a Frozen sequel," wrote one person.

"I'm honestly a 24 y.o man who is more excited than any of the kids here," said another.

A third added: "We still don't know anything about the plot and yet I'm still hyped! What was with that water horse? Is Anna gonna have powers too? I NEED ANSWERS NOW."

The sequel to the hit 2013 cartoon musical was first announced back in 2015, and it stole many people's hearts with its amazing soundtrack. Parents around the world will be happy that there will be a new 'Let It Go' to sing for the next few years.

Featuring many of the characters from the first film - Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad will be returning as Anna, Elsa and Olaf - it's also been reported that Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood and This Is Us star Sterling K.

Rumours have been swirling in recent months that Frozen 2 will introduce a mysterious new character in the form of a potential girlfriend for Elsa (Idina Menzel).

Frozen 2 is due for release on November 22.
