The trailer for the new Jay and Silent Bob reboot - aptly titled Jay and Silent Bob Reboot - is finally out, having been premiered at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. (WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE, UNSURPRISINGLY.)
"The stoner icons who first hit the screen 25 years ago in CLERKS are back!" the film's synopsis explains.

"When Jay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting an old movie based on them, the clueless duo embark on another cross-country mission to stop it all over again!"
Along with Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes - who reprise their roles as our titular duo - in the trailer you might spot many other old favourites from the Jay and Bob gang, including Jason Lee, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
There's also some cameos from James Van Der Beek and Jason Biggs, who you'll spot towards the end.
We don't have a release date just yet, but the trailer does say the film will be hitting screens 'this fall'.

Promising us this week's trailer drop, creator Kevin Smith took to Instagram to reveal more about what we can expect from the long-awaited film, also sharing a 'first look' poster.
The image is actually a promotional poster for a 'film within the film', as Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will see Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) venturing to Hollywood to stop a new Bluntman and Chronic movie from being made.
Smith explained: "This weekend at @comic_con, we'll be debuting the @jayandsilentbob Reboot trailer during my Saturday night Hall H panel (right after the @marvelstudios panel)!

"It'll go out to the world soon after, so folks are going to see much more of the cast, plot and in-movie artwork. So in anticipation, I'll be sharing images from #jayandsilentbobreboot that I haven't made public yet. Like this faux movie artwork upon which our plot turns.
"In the new adventure, #jayandsilentbob find out the old #bluntmanandchronic movie that was based on them is getting a Reboot - so they go back to Hollywood to stop it all over again!
"But as with any Reboot, the source material has been modernised - so the rebooted Bluntman movie... now features a female Chronic!"
He continued: "I won't spoil who plays the new Bluntman and Chronic (it's in the trailer), so I'll take some guesses instead: Who's Behind the Masks? When the trailer drops this weekend, you'll get to see if you were right.
