I'll give it a miss, thanks.

When it comes to blood and gore in movies, I have to admit, I'm not a fan. When I saw the first Saw film, I had to leave the cinema before the end. I'm really not the type of person who can sit there and watch a man saw his leg off, even if it's not real.

'Gornography' just isn't for me. So, one movie I will definitely be giving a miss is Raw.

The French horror movie, which centres around cannibalism is so extreme that during a screening at the Toronto Film Festival several people in the audience passed out.

One LA cinema is taking zero chances and is offering 'barf bags' to cinema goers and it's believed that others will soon follow suit.

The film is about a vegetarian student, who takes part in a particularly grim initiation at college, during which she discovers that she's got a taste for raw human flesh. Naturally, she then decides to go cannibal to satisfy her urges.

There are extremely graphic, gory scenes, I'm talking graphic enough to make people faint. You can see the trailer here, but if you're like me and don't like gross shit maybe give it a miss.

Despite my reservations I'm sure the film will become a cult favourite, because, let's face it, people love grim shit.

It has an impressive 88 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.2 on IMDB - with reviewers describing the film as 'gorgeous' and stating that the reason the film got so many chucking up and fainting is purely down to the impressive acting and spot on cinematography. I still won't be giving it a watch, though.

For those of us who like our horror movies a little less blood drenched, The Void, which is released next month is set to be 2017's 'most dark and demented' horror film. Cool, sign me up.

The film revolves around a cop called Carter, who find a blood-soaked (oh God, not more blood) man limping down a deserted road. Being a good cop, Carter rushes the injured man to hospital, but once he gets there shit really hits the fan as cloaked, 'cult-looking figures' are surrounding the building.

Once inside the hospital Carter and the other survivors find a 'gateway to immense evil', which I've found is always in the last place you look, and that's when it starts to get really dark.

2017 is looking like a pretty good year for horror movies, then.
