Christmas is the time for proper indulgence, isn't it? You can eat as many pigs in blankets as you fancy, drink as many cans as possible to get through the bargain crate you bagged for a tenner - and don't even get us started on the After Eights.

Well, now Lidl has jumped on this festive bandwagon because it has just started selling one of the most extravagant treats yet. And we're practically accepting the heart attack that's undoubtedly coming in due course.

The supermarket's festive Yorkshire pudding wrap takes Christmas dinner to an entire new level, as it includes four different festive meats.

Lidl

Lidl's wrap contains British turkey, Cumberland chipolata sausages, gammon and pork. It also has sage and onion stuffing all wrapped up in one giant, crispy Yorkie.

The supermarket suggests serving the festive treat with a jug of rich gravy on the side. No problem at all.

It costs £7.99 ($10.19) but is large enough to serve six people, which makes it just £1.30 ($1.66) per serving. Bargain.

The meat feast is bound to be a hit, as Yorkshire pudding wraps were huge last year, causing massive queues at Christmas markets across the country.

But instead of freezing your bollocks off at said markets, paying about £10 for a single serving wrap and accompanying it with a £7 mug of shit mulled wine, you can quickly pop to Lidl because the Yorkshire pudding wrap is already in stores nationwide now.

We suggest you act fast if you do want to feast on one of these as they are only in Lidl stores while stocks last.

If you can't get enough of Yorkshire puddings, then you'll be glad to hear that you might actually be able to make a bit of cash from your obsession.

A restaurant in Leeds is currently looking for a Yorkshire pudding taster to try out loads of different versions of the crispy, fluffy savoury treat so the chef can perfect his recipe.

And to top it all off, you will earn yourself a decent £250 ($318) - not too shabby when you've got Christmas shopping coming up.

The Botanist in Leeds placed an advert on Airtasker, and it sounds like the perfect arrangement.

It read: "Do you love Yorkshire Puddings? Fancy yourself as the next Paul Hollywood? Yes? Then I've got a task for you! We're searching for one Yorkshire resident who knows what makes the perfect pud' to help us perfect our signature Sunday Roast.

"One lucky candidate will be chosen to attend a session at The Botanist Trinity, where you'll be served a wide range of Yorkshire puddings made using different methods, with gravy of course! Oh, and did we mention we'll pay YOU £250 for your time?"
