Sony’s 'Gran Turismo Sport' Bundle Comes With A Real $47,000 Car

But sadly it’s been snapped up already

What's better than owning a car? Owning two cars? A mansion? Being a dog and having no knowledge of the innate finality of life?

All wrong. The answer is owning a car, a copy of Gran Turismo Sport and a shiny new PS4. It can't just be any car though. A Rover Metro isn't going to cut it in the daytime while you wow the interweb at night with your driving skills.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Taiwan have announced a Gran Turismo Sport PS4 bundle that puts an end to the never really asked question: what is the best console bundle of all time?

The answer is a bundle that comes with a limited-edition (unlike the Rover Metro) 2018 Mazda MX-5 covered in Gran Turismo and PlayStation logos. I'm guessing there might be some kind of marketing ploy afoot.

The bundle also has a PS4 Pro, an Apiga AP1 racing chair, a PSVR headset and Move controllers, a Thrustmaster T-GT steering wheel, Bravia 4K HDR TV, 12 months of PS Plus, and the game itself, which is released on October 17th on Playstation's latest and best console to date.

Unfortunately, only one bundle has been made available for the mind-boggling amount of $46,600 (£34,730) and it's been bought already.

I have nothing to back this up, but my suspicion is that it was this guy.

The game features 162 cars and 40 tracks to test out your skills. Custom races have also been added, allowing you to set your own rules on the track. You can make your own room to host races, as well as compete in, or simply spectate, races hosted by other gamers.

The new 'Brand Central' feature not only you allows you to purchase cars from a particular make, but also allows you to discover the history of different vehicle manufacturers.

I don't even like driving, and I'm also terrible at it - to the extent of being recently pulled over by a policeman in the US - but this game does look exceptional.
