Dave Bautista is a former wrestler, MMA fighter and bodybuilder turned actor, and a general man mountain. In wrestling terms he's most well-known for the Batista Bomb but after retiring back in 2014 he's now more famous as an actor and has starred in some huge movies including Spectre, Blade Runner 2049 and most famously Guardians of the Galaxy in which he plays Drax.
He was doing a Q&A on GameSpot's Twitter account when one fan asked:

"I've enjoyed basically all the film's you've been in and was a huge fan during your WWE run. What's your dream role? I'm hoping they ask you to play Marcus Fenix in the Gears of War movie! #AskDave"
To which the former wrestler's response was:
"I've been pursuing Gears of War for years now," he said. "I've been knocking on their door and badgering them, and they are so sick of me."
The Gears of War movie is reportedly with Universal at the minute, and he admitted that it was his "dream role" - and what perfect casting it would be.

Bautista's build and general looks make him the perfect man for the job.
Fans want this to happen so much that a change.org site has been set up and already has over 500 signatures at the time of writing.
Surely when (if) the movie does go ahead the part is his to lose?
