The PS4 exclusive Spider-Man took E3 by storm and the latest images surrounding the map make it clear to see why.

We've seen footage of the gameplay, in particular fighting sequences which are reminiscent of the Batman Arkham series, but now we know what kind of scale the New York setting will be.

A YouTuber, who goes by the name Caboose, played a bit of a walk through video of the demo of the game. We are able to see just how big it is, but it gets even better when he tells us of a Reddit video he found.

In said video, we are able to see the whole Spider-Man map from a third person, almost bird's eye, perspective. There's the city area, an island below it, and two huge places on the outside of the city that are connected by bridges. The YouTuber doesn't believe we'll be able to visit these places. But perhaps they could become some sort of DLC

The video also showcases The Avengers Tower out of the films, a nice little Easter egg for when you're web swinging through the city skyline. This is partnered with the Iron Spider Suit, as given in the latest Avengers film by Iron Man himself, so expect a few more eggs to be hidden around the massive game, too.

The release on 7 September will definitely be of the biggest of the year and will be making Xbox players sick to the stomach for sure.

Keep an eye out for even more videos until launch date, we just can't wait to spend ten minutes climbing the tallest building and seeing how fast we can hit the ground - sorry Spidey.
