We've all been there, scrolling endlessly through social media and before you know it it's 3am and you've wasted an entire evening looking at pictures of cats and exploring the darker side of Google Maps. Well it seems that actor Channing Tatum has had one too many binge-nights on his phone as he's declared that he's taking a break from social media as he wants to return to his former creative self.

Magic Mike broke the news to his 17.4 million Instagram followers: "I'm gonna take a break and come off socials for a minute.

"I've been trying to get inspired and create again.

"And to be honest I don't really feel, or at least I haven't felt very creative on social in the last couple years now."

He continued: "I'm gonna go and be just in the real world for a while and off my phone."

Don't worry though, it's not forever. He said: "I'll probably come back at some point.

"But if I do I want to have a direction or a clear point of view of why I'm on here and what I'm putting out there. Love ya! See ya after a while!"

Channing has received hundreds of supportive comments from fans who clearly sympathise with the star.

He split from his wife a while back and is dating Jessie J.

It is nice to get away from your phones for a bit, but as most of our readers use theirs to visit LADbible, we'd advise against it.
