Whenever I try to make friends, I usually start off with an awkward handshake and a quip about the weather. Cardi B, 26, however decided to seal her friendship with Stefflon Don by inciting a twerk-off at The BET Awards. Cardi B was celebrating winning album of the year for her debut 'Invasion of Privacy' when the video surfaced on Instagram.
It was a night to remember for the both of them, as Stefflon's new boyfriend, Afrobeats singer Burna Boy won Best International Act too. Steff recently declared their romance by sharing topless photographs of herself with the rapper. Which is sweet, in some universe no doubt.

In a second set of photographs, Burna Boy took a more conventional approach and filled a room full of roses of Valentine's Day. Awww.
In the lively video, we can see a number of stars dancing and drinking the night away. Undoubtedly there's going to be a few heavy heads today.
Despite being in court this week after allegedly having a fight in a New York strip club, Cardi still managed to put on a show in Los Angeles. In a glittering purple body suit, gloves and boots she shimmied her way across the stage, perhaps a little too aggressively. She took to Twitter to share her experience.
Many of her fans were quick to respond, praising her performance and wishing her well despite her grazed knees.

Admittedly Cardi and Steff aren't complete strangers. Both stars are signed to the Quality Control Music record label, which also has Cardi's husband's rap group, Migos on board.
This isn't the first time that Cardi and Steff have shown affection towards each other. During Cardi's infamous feud with Nicki Minaj the 'Bum Bum Tam Tam' rapper reportedly backed her up on Instagram:
'@Nickiminaj ur a big grown woman talking about beating someone's head in???? QUEEN???? I'm disappointed in you so many people look up to you show us better [sic].'
Maybe when you've got that much history it's absolutely fine to rub your bottom against each other. Can't imagine I'll be trying it anytime soon though.
