The Wiggles Are Doing Like A Version Tomorrow And Fans Have Some Suggestions

Every week, Triple J listeners get to listen to a segment called Like A Version and hear a band do an incredible cover of a song.

It's produced some earth-shatteringly good covers that some will argue are better than the original or better than anything the artist has done originally.

But this week listeners were delighted to know everyone's favourite band would be coming on the show.

The Wiggles are set to do Live A Version tomorrow morning (March 5).

Naturally, everyone is wanting to know which song they will cover and which one they will perform from their own catalogue.

People have suggested everything from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's 'WAP' to Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' for the children's entertainers to perform.

One person wrote: "omg The Wiggles are doing Triple J's like a version next week and I can't wAIT my inner child is going crazy."

Another added: "Just got banned from commenting on Facebook because I said The Wiggles like a version on Friday will be Wiggly A** P***y by Cardi B."

Not only will this be a monumental moment in music history, but it will also signal something even more iconic.

Original red wiggle Murray Cook will join Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce and Emma Watkins in the lineup for the performance.

Field said: "Murray Wiggle, the rock god, he's agreed. The OG's coming together with the current Wiggles, and we're going to create music history with a great song on Like a Version... We can't wait."

What song will they sing? Only time will tell.
